Liquid winged eyeliner look! ~Meow~

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been a couple months, since I've posted anything. School and life has kept me busy. But! Here I am again, and this time I'm doing a quick tutorial on an everyday liquid winged eyeliner look. 4 steps is all you need. I need to wake up at around 6AM every morning, so I need a quick and easy everyday look. It takes me about 3 minutes total to do both eyes. Less time doing make up means more time to sleep!

I have hooded Asian eyes, but yes! We can still pull off a winged eye, too.

STEP 1:
Thinly, line the top rim of your eye as close to the lash line as possible with a liquid felt tipped eyeliner. It's ok if it's not exact. You can fix it later. I used Stila's All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, but any thin tipped liquid liner will work. I like this Stila liner because it's hassle free, stays put all day even though I have oily lids, and comes off easily with my makeup wipes.

Bonus TIP!
For those who are not familiar with putting a liquid liner on the top lash line, I like the dab method. Hold the liner tip horizontally, flat as close to your lashes as possible and dab the side of the tip across the top of eye. Fill in any gaps. This method gives me the most control.

STEP 2:
See the blue line that extends from the lower lash line up past the outer corner of the eye? That's the line you'll need to follow to make your wing. So, starting from the outer corner of the line you made in step 1, draw a straight line upwards following your lower lash line.

You can make the line as long as you want. The longer you make it, the more cat-like your eyes will look. Play around and determine what length works best for you.

Bonus TIP!
If you're doing this for the first time and you're not sure how far to extend the line or not confident in your ability to draw a straight line, take the liquid liner and lay it horizontally flat against your eye like with the "dab method" from the bonus tip in step 1 and press down lightly. This way, your wing will be the length of tip of your liner and will be straight. This works best if your liner is felt tipped.

STEP 3:
Look! You have a wing. See the red line? Now, starting from the upper corner of your wing, draw a horizontal line straight into your lash line just line in the picture. I exaggerated the lines a little to show the technique clearer. The higher you extend the blue line, the higher your red line will insert back into the lash line, which will create a more dramatic look.

You will get a triangle at the corner of your eyes.

STEP 4:
Now fill in the triangle and smooth out any bumps or gaps. Finish with your favorite mascara.

There you have it! Winged liquid eyeliner! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Thanks for reading and let me know what you think! Subscribe please.
